GIS - A banknote Christmas card (corner Talk)

Wanted to post something to wish to all my fellow collectors a Merry Christmas. (I was actually save it so far!) It is a map of memories of 1993 co American banknote issued to celebrate the holidays. Depicts the 1860s Shetucket Bank Bank draft in Connecticut with a classic vignette of Santa Claus, dashing off the coast in his sleigh and the other at the bottom of her down in the foyer of filling.

All those of you who want a warm and happy holiday. And be PC, happy Hanukka post, as well. Sorry I couldn't find any ticket showing the menorah.

Pony Express delivers mail Christmas (in)

With Santa deliver your gifts with a reindeer sled is quite interesting, but so is having your Christmas by Pony Express mail. (Photo by Keystone/Getty Images)For the past three years, members of Southeast Wyoming Pony Express Association burdened and grouped against the cold for a chilly 12 mile stroll carrying mail holiday, in a section of historic Pony express route. Original Pony Express lasted about 18 months, but it provided a significant communication link to areas which are not yet connected via Telegraph. Hardy horses and their riders transported mail in the segments of ten thousand, the distance being that a horse could reasonable coverage without excessive fatigue, travelling to the lively trot or lope.

Club Toastmasters International meetings, the meeting generally ends in a session called 'Table themes', in which members and guests who have not yet spoken Gets a chance to stand and speak to the group. "Topicsmaster" provides questions to each person, then improvises a discourse on the 2-minute as a response.

The question that I received the week was last sitting in my local club:

How is it possible that Santa deliver all these gifts in one night?

Fortunately, I was able to answer this question because I read it very entertaining the physics of Christmas of Roger Highfield.

The book covers not only the legends surrounding Santa Claus, but also the historical context of the history of Christmas, the science behind the creation of Christmas, the psychology of happiness holiday (and depression) and other aspects of the feast dinner.
